SPENSA is a Catholic co-educational secondary school under the Archdiocese of Kampala, currently serving a student population of over 2,000 learners. Guided by our motto, Fides et Labor — Faith and Work — we remain steadfast in our vision to be a leading provider of quality and holistic education, and in our mission to provide all-round quality education through faith and hard work for unity and development.
This mission is anchored in a set of core values that shape every learner who passes through our gates: Love of God, Love, Honesty, Hard Work, Justice, Obedience, and Humility. These values are not merely stated but lived — in our classrooms, on our playing fields, and in the daily conduct of our school community.
Our institutional mandate rests upon three foundational pillars: rigorous academic achievement, delivered in accordance with the frameworks of the Ministry of Education and Sports, the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB), and the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC); a robust co-curricular programme that fosters talent, teamwork, and leadership; and an unwavering culture of discipline, anchored in our Catholic identity and core values, that shapes learners into responsible and principled citizens.
It is the conviction of this institution that every learner entrusted to our care possesses distinct potential. Faithful to our motto and values, we hold that this potential is realised through faith, love, honesty, diligence, justice, obedience, and humility — and it is our collective responsibility, through the dedication of our staff, the partnership of parents and guardians, and the support of the wider SPENSA community, to nurture it fully.
